To help address the shortage of services for children with special needs, Bonner Paddock and the OM Foundation plan to build centers in Tanzania, Africa to house and provide care for abandoned children with disabilities. To date the Light in Africa organization houses 237 children with disabilities ranging from cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and mental disabilities. Many of the children are HIV positive as well.
Early Learning Center – Orange County
In an effort to provide “life without limits” for young children with disabilities, to reduce stress upon working parents, and to demonstrate the efficacy of an inclusive early care and education facility within Orange County, OMF is committed to the creation of a model, inclusive child care center where every child feels accepted.
